Yes. Elope 253 is a sweet, private alternative to a courthouse wedding in Tacoma.
You still get the simple, legal, low-stress experience many couples want from a courthouse wedding, but in a cheerful chapel setting with an ordained officiant, music, Zoom livestream options, and space for a few favorite people. It feels personal without becoming complicated.

Our chapel is a convenient option for couples getting married in Tacoma, Pierce County, Seattle, Olympia, Gig Harbor, Puyallup, Federal Way, and the greater South Sound area. It’s especially perfect for couples who want a small wedding venue that feels warm, simple, and easy to access.

Yes. Your elopement can be simple and still feel personal.
Depending on the package you choose, you may be able to select music, exchange personal vows, include a few favorite people, add photography, or choose sweet extras like flowers or treats. We keep the planning easy while still making space for the little details that make your ceremony feel like yours.

Item desWashington State requires two witnesses to be present at your wedding ceremony and sign the marriage paperwork, so that is the minimum number of people you’ll need in the room with you.
For in-person guests, our Just Elope! package allows up to 8 guests, and all other Elope 253 packages allow up to 16 guests. These packages are designed for tiny weddings, micro weddings, and intimate ceremonies with only your favorite people.
Keeping it super private? Ask us if you need to hire Elope 253 professional witnesses for your ceremony.
And for loved ones who can’t be there in person, your ceremony can be livestreamed on Zoom with up to 100 virtual guests watching live.cription

Yes — we love last-minute elopements. They’re spontaneous, romantic, and honestly kind of magical.
If you already have a valid Washington marriage license and we have an opening at the chapel, we may be able to marry you right away — even the same day.
If you don’t have your marriage license yet, Washington has a 3-day waiting period before the license can be used for a ceremony, so the best first step is to get your license and then check our availability. Once the legal timing works, we’ll help make the rest feel simple, sweet, and stress-free.

Yes. Zoom livestreaming is available with Elope 253 packages, and up to 100 virtual guests can watch your ceremony live.
This is perfect for couples who want to keep their wedding day small in person while still including out-of-state family, friends who cannot travel, or loved ones who want to cheer you on from afar.
